I scoured the Boise mountains by helicopter, by Jeep, and on foot (and sometimes hands) to capture the resilience of a landscape recovering from devastating wildfires.

I was captivated by the rugged rhythm of the hills and the stark beauty of the burn-scarred forest, and inspired by the unbridled optimism of new growth.
